Located at the Tran Phu – Ly Tu Trong intersection beside the Han River, the Da Nang Administrative Center Building is considered to be a landmark of the city. With substantial capital investment, the inclusion of advanced technology in construction, modern designs and smart operation systems, this project marks a new beginning in a public service city. The building constitutes a 23,318 m2 area. The main building is 166,8m in height, rising to 34 storeys. There are 2 basements and a four-floor podium marked by a cylindrical tower. The total floor area is 65,234 m2.
Inspired by a lighthouse design, the podium depicts a stylized image of a boat combined with an inflated sail. The Administrative Center portrays this symbolism of the Lấy ý aspiration of a young, dynamic city spreading its wings towards globalization. In placing administrative agents in the building and applying an up-to-date management system, the City People Council and the City People’s Committee expect public service to better serve the needs of its clientele.
The project developer is the The People’s Committee Office; while the project is designed by Mooyoung Architects & Engineers (Korea). With a total of 1,124 VND billion in capital investment, the project is expected to be an exemplary model for a leading, modern administrative service in the country.
